hello.
Camera suggestions, location evidence, corrections and privacy requests are all welcome. A little context helps us act on a message quickly.

Good to know
Can I submit a camera?
Yes. Send the public YouTube URL, the operator or channel, and any independent evidence of the location. We only publish a feed once we can confirm that it is public, relevant to Japan and safe to embed. A camera that cannot be verified stays neutral or is left out.
How do you verify a camera’s location?
We require independent evidence — an operator statement, an official page or a verifiable source — before assigning a place, prefecture or region. Thumbnail text, a channel name or a visual landmark is not enough. A camera that cannot be verified keeps a neutral title and stays under “Region unknown”. The four current cameras in Chubu have verified locations.
A feed is offline or the player shows an error. Can you fix it?
Playback is controlled by YouTube and the channel owner. We can update the status and, if a feed is permanently gone, remove the entry. Embedding can also be disabled by the channel, which no change on our side can override.
Do you host or record the video?
No. Video plays through YouTube's IFrame Player API. Japan Live View does not host, download, transcode or re-stream any feed, and no camera is embedded until you choose to play it.
